The following is a summary of about 10 common mistakes made by job seekers in their efforts to pursue a career.

  1. Less Self-Aware. For this you need to determine the ability of yourself first. Try to analyze the potential of yourself that could be developed and you are confident of being able to do it. Do not be ashamed to reveal your greatness in your resume or the interview arrives. But too much is also not very confident, because you can impress arrogant. "Selling yourself" you with courtesy and impress them.
  2. Less resume wearing. Resume is a very important role in the process of applying in a company. For that before filling in your resume helps you analyze the position or positions you seek. The company opened a job for a particular position because they wanted the company to grow with the help of the right people. Well, you convince them that it was the right person. How can you do to fill a resume about the "greatness" you and you can provide solutions to streamline the company's business. Do not be too boasted you could do this that and everything. A brief but direct hit. Remember, the HRD company only had about 10 seconds to read your resume, very short.
  3. Socialize less. Maybe you've been too busy looking for a job on the internet, newspapers or magazines that rarely leave the house. Really nice because it can find a lot of job options, but do not forget to hang out because the mix you can add friends and connections. Who knows one of them has a job info at the company where they work. References from friends can be more smooth move you to at least reach the level of the interview. But not infrequently also thanks to a friend someone could direct reference to accepted work.
  4. Follow-up Interview Results lazy. It is important for you to "follow up" all the activities that you have live interviews. Do not just stand by and wait because you think you have completed the interview continues to the next just waiting for the results. Management companies are now beginning to consider and appreciate the initiatives that have prospective employees. So do not hesitate to contact the company regarding the results of your previous interviews!
  5. Ashamed to Ask for Help. Most people might feel reluctant or embarrassed to ask friends or family assistance in finding jobs because they can show their weakness. Indeed this is true they do but again it will shut down their chances of developing the network and try new challenges. Get help to get the job you are not a sign of weakness but a sign that you are willing to learn from someone who is experienced and expert in their field.
  6. Less Preparation of Self. You never late pas interviews and less neatly dressed? If ever it means you lack of preparation. It's important to do proper preparation before the day of the interview because it is a historic day you. The company will assess you in terms of dress, the way you answer the question or the way you shake hands. Dress is neat, clean and fragrant, and practice your speaking skills. No less important to do a little research about the company where you interview later and arrived early so you can relax for a moment.
  7. Less Confident. You should do a little research to find out the value of your abilities in the workplace before the interview day. Many job seekers who are less able to "sell themselves" they were disappointed when the interview so they hired despite knowing the salary they get less than satisfactory. For that you should never disclose the salary you want first. Make them the first offer salary range. Remember, you can bargain wages if you are already convinced chosen as the leading candidate and the company has made an offer to you.
  8. No Focus Works With One Field. Merged in search of work is getting the right job rather than from work. Getting the right job will certainly affect your success in a career later on. But if your home worked in the sense of work does not fit the interests and abilities are likely level of satisfaction that you feel very minimal so it makes you less to enjoy the work.
  9. Many apply for the Same Position in the Company. Try a maximum of 3 positions you are applying in one company and that too in a related field course. Do not just spread the application everywhere hoping there's something striking. This step is wrong and the company certainly knows this. They will think you unprofessional and lacking in ability.
  10. Too Confident. Self-confidence is necessary and an important part in the interview process. But not too confident too good because it will create the impression that you are pompous and arrogant. This usually happens to someone who is rich work experience. Remember that companies want a candidate who must have a low profile and have the potential and quality to streamline their business. Instead of candidates who have demonstrated job performance but it was arrogant.
